BEEF and CHEDDAR SANDWICHES
Arby's Copycat Recipe
3 - 4 lb beef roast
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed
2 packages onion soup mix, dry
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
salt & pepper, to taste
onion rolls
Place roast in crock pot. Stir remaining ingredients together & pour over roast. Cook on LOW 5 hours.
Serve on onion rolls. Leftovers freeze beautifully.
Notes: Pour cheddar cheese soup, nacho cheese or Homemade Cheese Whiz over when serving.
What kind of roast beef do you use for this
ReplyDeleteYou buy a roast of beef and cook it in the crockpot and slice it off when done. He's not getting pre-sliced sandwich meat
ReplyDeleteRidiculous...create a bland generic crock pot roast recipe and try to pass it off as Arby's. Not even in the same ballpark, fraud at it's best. Sad.
